JANUARY 10–14, 2024, MACAU

Macau International Forum on Space and Planetary Sciences

This forum aims to bring together leading academic scientists and researchers from all over the world to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Space Science and Planetary Science. In this forum, we will have the opportunity to delve into China’s space exploration achievements, including the latest discoveries from the Chang’E-5 and Tianwen-1 satellites, as well as preliminary research results from the Macau Scientific Satellite-1.

Chang’E-5 is a significant lunar exploration mission for China, which successfully collected and returned rock samples from the lunar surface. Tianwen-1 is China’s first Mars exploration mission, which has successfully landed on the Martian surface and begun scientific exploration. The Macau Scientific Satellite-1 is the first space science satellite program jointly developed by the Chinese mainland and Macau, designed to monitor the geomagnetic field and the space environment of the near-equator South Atlantic Anomaly.
